Save on International Currency and Transfers

Have you ever had to convert currencies, or send money internationally?
Maybe you’ve had to use an ATM in a foreign country, or moved internationally without access to a local bank account?

If you said yes to any of the above, then you probably would have saved some time and money if you used Wise. Wise is an international currency converter and non-bank payment provider, providing seamless and cost-effective service.

When I first left Australia and moved to Europe, I did not have a residency permit, so I did not have access to a local bank account. Without a European bank account, I had no way of sending, receiving, or withdrawing funds, without incurring large fees from my Australian bank.

I was naive enough to accept my home bank’s charges for international transactions, until it came time to receiving my first salary, and I realised I had nowhere for it to go.

Save time and money on international currency with Wise’s transparent rates and transfer timeframes.

Still unable to set up a local bank account, my search led me to what was then called TransferWise, where I set up an online account to receive my first European salary.
This was in 2019, and I have been using Wise ever since.

I cannot speak highly enough of this service, from the lowest fees on international transfers and currency conversion, to fast transactions and the application’s ease of use, Wise is the superior tool for all things international currency related.
The free debit Mastercard has been pretty handy too!
